Yours Clothing Store Opening in Ashford

When I heard Yours were opening a store near me I did a little squee and decided I’d go along to the opening. I met fellow blogger Katt outside the shop in the County Square shopping centre and we joined the huge queue of ladies (and a few husbands!) to wait for the shop to open at 10am. There was a great buzz in the queue and before we knew it, the shutter went up, the pink ribbon was cut and ladies streamed in to receive the gift bags, balloons and bucks fizz on offer.

When I got inside I was like a kid in a candy shop. I’d been in Yours stores before, but never such a large and spacious shop. I immediately spotted a dress I’d had my eye on for a while and grabbed it before my size sold. Come to mama!

I went around the store snapping photos of so many lovely things and built up a wishlist that might bankrupt a millionaire.

Shoes, glorious shoes!

Which handbag to pick? Dilemma!

Katt and I went to check out the changing area, which was full of fun quotes.

We both tried on a couple of items and the staff encouraged us to come out of the changing room to give them a twirl but I still had my jumpsuit around my ankles, ha! Nevertheless I opened the curtain and shuffled out, and they pressed the compliment button on the wall to give Katt and I a boost. The staff were really enthusiastic which was good to see. Once we’d worked out what we were going to buy we joined the huge queue of people waiting to pay for their goodies. The tills were ringing, but far from the queue being grumpy, we were chatting to one another – how very un-British!

It was a lovely visit and I’m sure I’ll be back soon. Here are some photos of me wearing the dress I bought.
