Hi Ladies, It’s Hollie here from www.prettybigbutterflies.com and I’m guest blogging today! I was super excited about the latest Yours Clothing store opening in Surrey Quays, London. I went along to take part in all the festivities and believe me it was definitely was.
At 10am, the ribbon was cut and there was a huge crowd ready to start shopping. With a massive cheer they came in picking up their goody bags and pink balloons. (One goody bag even had a £50 voucher in!) I was supposed to be helping with handing out bucks fizz and goodies and before I knew it I was helping people find sizes and helping them take their pieces to the lovely large fitting rooms. I had a GREAT time.
The Surrey Quays ladies worked so hard that morning, it was one of the hottest days of the year so far and they really were paying attention to detail making sure every single thing was in place. The store looked amazing! It was bright, colourful and spacious. It was so nice for me to actually see the clothes in real life rather than on a computer screen, it isn’t something I can do very often but now I can. Lots of my favourite pieces were on the rails such as the Tropical Print Sheer Kimono Shrug with Fringed Hem.Being able to feel the gorgeous material and the bright colours in person, as well as trying it on makes a huge difference and this was the feedback I had from lots of happy customers.
I went along in my favourite YOURS clothing outfit and my Miss London Curve 2014 sash that I’m currently the holder for and there were great comments from ladies saying how being plus size or having curves didn’t mean that they wanted to hide away. They were just as over the moon as me that Yours Clothing had opened their doors in South London because they want somewhere stylish, affordable and friendly to go to. Well, YOURS Clothing is clearly perfect!
I can’t wait to pop into the store on the weekend and have a trying on session while talking to the lovely ladies who are AMAZING at giving style advice. While you’re there, don’t forget to push the ‘I’m Fabulous’ button… you’ll get a compliment every time!
