It’s been another manic but fun week here at the Yours HQ; we’ve all been working hard on the Yours spring campaigns and on the exciting new Menswear collection! It’s been so busy I haven’t managed to write a blog for last week so I’m pleased to be back, if you only to give you a quick behind the scenes snapshot of one our upcoming campaigns.
Much like the Monochrome trend, Nautical is one that comes around every year. This season, to give this classic trend a fresh new twist, we decided to give our shoot a “spring showers” theme. The Yours nautical clothing collection still has the classic navy, white and red colours with stripes and spots, but this year it also features floral pieces and touches of pink. To create our “spring showers” theme, on the day of the shoot our studio was full of props including a white-washed wooden boat, umbrellas, watering cans, and lots of beautiful mixed flowers arranged by a local florist.
As with all of our shoot days, the energy in the studio was high with everyone getting excited to showcase some more of our spring collection and swooning over the pretty flowers. Our models Fiona and Brenna are good friends in real life and have worked together before so they had a really great energy between them which translated well in the shots. After the winter season it was so nice and refreshing to be shooting some of our brighter, fresher pieces and it was really rewarding seeing all of our set-ups come together.
